Since 1985, Compagnie & Co’s Thé de Noël® has been delighting the festive season with its warm notes of almond and cherry. This iconic creation, now a true essential, celebrates 40 years of history and indulgence this year. As the very first Christmas tea launched in France, it perfectly embodies the festive spirit: a black tea with cherry and almond flavors, enhanced by a unique steam-flavoring process that locks aromas deep into the leaves and gives them a distinctive brilliance.

A true madeleine de Proust for tea lovers, it has accompanied family gatherings, cozy evenings, snowy breakfasts, and fireside teatimes for four decades. In 2025, we celebrate this legendary recipe—still true to itself—with a limited-edition Collector’s tin.

Composition of Thé de Noël®

Created in the 1980s, the very first Thé de Noël® was inspired by the traditional Christmas pudding recipe, a flavor closely associated with the festive season. This indulgent and full-bodied tea, where every ingredient blends harmoniously, has become a signature of our Christmas collection.

Let yourself be carried away by the delicate balance of this Chinese black tea, enhanced with subtle cherry and almond notes and sprinkled with cornflower petals.

At the time of its creation, black tea was chosen as the base, as green tea was not yet widely known or popular.

As a flavored black tea, the originality of Thé de Noël® lies in its aroma. While many festive drinks highlight heavily spiced notes—often dominated by cinnamon—our Christmas tea is more subtle and fruit-forward. On tasting, the cherry and almond flavors stand out clearly, while the strength of the black tea remains present.

Its popularity is also due to its visual appeal: decorated with blue and purple cornflower petals, which are neutral in taste but add a beautiful touch to the blend.
