From the Province of Yunnan, in the south of China, it has long leaves with plenty of golden tips.Delicately scented, stimulating, it is ideal for breakfast and is one the only Chinese teas which may be served with milk.

What distinguishes black teas from other teas
Every tea plant originally gives the same type of tea
After picking, several different operations transform the green leaves into black tea: these operations are carried out in the region where the tea is grown.
Withering: Withering consists in leaving the leaves to dry in the open air so that they lose a large part of their water content.
Rolling: The leaves are rolled together, taking care not to break them. This releases some of the sap and juices that give black tea its characteristic flavour.
Fermentation: During this phase the leaves are placed in a humid oven for several hours: oxidation takes place and the leaves turn black. Semi-fermented teas (such as Oolongs) have a shorter fermentation time, which explains their slightly bluish colour.
Sifting and grading: The various operations can break the more fragile leaves; quality teas are made from the whole leaves that remain in the sieve. The black tea is now ready to be packaged and sent to Compagnie & Co, where it will either be packaged directly or flavoured.
If the process is more or less the same in the different regions of production, the duration of the various steps can change and, as a result, black teas with different notes and savours are obtained. This can be compared to wine production: in the same wine-growing region, wines differ from one vineyard to another.

Le thé n'a aucun goût, j'ai fait plusieurs essais de temps d'infusion, il a fallu attendre bien 5 minutes pour avoir un goût plutôt fade qui ne ressemble pas çà ce que je m'attendais d'un Yunnan C'est le cas pour tous les thés que j'ai acheté ce jour là. Seul le thé de Chine a un léger goût de fumée. J'avoue être déçue, très déçue, car je connaissais la qualité des thés de votre marque en sachets qui sont plus gouteux.

Tout d'abord nous tenons à vous indiquer que vous avez choisi des thés nature qui par définition ont des goûts assez légers, voir subtils, c'est le cas du Grand Yunnan ou du Darjeeling. D'autre part, nous tenons à vous préciser que la qualité de nos thés est la même qu'ils soient conditionnés en vrac ou en sachets. Avez-vous dégusté les thés en vrac et en sachets à la même période ? Pouvons-nous nous permettre de vous demander si vous suivez un programme médicamenteux ? en effet certains médicaments ont comme effet de limiter le goût. Nous restons à votre disposition.
