What is Rooibos Caramel made of?

Rooibos is the national drink of South Africa. Indeed, the Aspalathus Linearis, or rooibos, is a small shrub of about 1 meter high that grows only in South Africa, in the Cederberg reserve. In Afrikaans, "Rooibos" means "reddish bush" simply because the leaves of rooibos are red!
Rooibos is not a tea because it does not come from the Camellia Sinensis plant. As we said, rooibos does not contain any theine or caffeine, so you can drink it at any time of the day, especially in the evening.
Traditionally, the rooibos infusion has a red-brown color created by the fermentation of the leaves. If the leaves are not fermented, then the rooibos will have a color rather similar to that of green tea, this is called green rooibos.
For this blend, we opted for a concentrate of greed: a rooibos with sweet flavors of caramel cream, for a gourmet moment, almost reminiscent of a dessert.

When to enjoy Rooibos Crème Caramel?
Rooibos does not cause any stimulating effects because it does not contain any theine. You can therefore enjoy it at any time of the day without any risk for your sleep.
How to prepare your rooibos so that it releases all the splendor of its aromas? It is simple:
We advise you to let it infuse for 3 minutes in a simmering water between 85° and 90°C.
But we can never repeat it enough: the secret of a good infusion is to enjoy it first! You can shorten this time if you prefer a lighter taste, or lengthen it for a more intense result.
This very greedy rooibos is ideal in the afternoon for a small comforting break or after a meal for the small gourmet note!
