A black tea low in theine
Pu Erh tea comes from China, more precisely from Pu'er in the Yunnan province. This fermented Chinese tea comes from large leaf tea trees. Once plucked, the leaves undergo a first oxidation, and then live a long period of fermentation which gives this tea this so particular aroma!
There is also a variety of black Pu Erh tea, which requires only 45 days to 3 months to be fermented.
Pu Erh tea is often presented in compressed form: cakes or nests. This makes it easier to transport but also to age!
During its fermentation, Pu Erh tea develops very little theine, so it is perfect to be enjoyed throughout the day.
Multi-fermented Pu Erh black tea has very characteristic flavors: moist earthy aromas that are both delicate and velvety in the mouth.

Preparation of Pu Erh tea
How to prepare this black Pu Erh tea so that it releases all the splendor of its aromas? It is very simple:
We advise you to let it infuse for 3 minutes in simmering water between 85° and 90°.
But we can never repeat it enough: the secret of a good tea is to enjoy it first! You can shorten this time if you prefer a lighter taste, or lengthen it for a more intense result.
