To learn more about Ceylon teas...

This black tea from Sri Lanka is one of the pillars of our range of natural black teas.

It is a blend of 3 black teas from gardens or districts located at more than 1200 m altitude.

Each one brings its own characteristics to make a great original vintage and rich in flavors.

The Nuwara Eliya district provides a tea with a flowery taste. The tea from Uva has a much rounder taste in the mouth and gives a beautiful infusion with copper colors. Finally the Dimbula garden, which culminates at 1400 m of altitude is known for its full-bodied tea of bronze color.

The letters that follow the name of a tea are useful to inform the consumer about the care taken at the time of picking and also about the size of the tea leaf.

OP (Orange Pekoe): Pekoe is the final bud, so these are young leaves that provide a very delicate taste. Orange does not mean a taste or a color, but refers to the royal family of the Netherlands, the Orange Nassau. One of its members particularly appreciated the delicacy of these teas.

Advice to prepare

Indeed, this Ceylon can be consumed at any time of the day.

In the morning it can be drunk plain or with a cloud of milk.

After lunch, its strong taste replaces advantageously a black coffee.
