Composition of the Smoked Earl Grey

Our Smoked Earl Grey is like all Earl Grey teas, a bergamot flavored tea to which we have added a touch of smoke thanks to Lapsang Souchong.

If our Smoked Earl Grey convinces everyone who discovers it, this is due to the quality of the ingredients that compose it, and to the flavoring method we use.

As for the ingredients of Earl Grey tea: our manufacturing secret lies in the exceptional blend of quality ingredients prepared from Chinese black teas, a selection of essential oils of bergamot and flower petals.

As for our Lapsang Souchong, it is naturally smoked with pine roots which gives it very aromatic notes.

What is bergamot? 

Bergamot is the fruit of the bergamot tree, which grows mainly in Italy. Most of the fruit is used to extract its essential oil. This essential oil is mainly known for its characteristic taste but also for its calming and relaxing properties, which makes it a perfect ally against stress.

The flower petals are added at the end of the flavoring process. They decorate the blend to give it a pleasant visual, but do not add taste to the tea.
